1998 Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships in Athletics

The 13th Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships in Athletics were held July 10–12, 1998 at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex in Georgetown, Cayman Islands. The meet included 79 events (41 for juniors and 38 for youth) and drew about 361 athletes from 21 nations (187 juniors and 174 youth). The Cayman Islands hosted the event, and the Commonwealth of Dominica competed for the first time. A total of 19 championship records were set during the competition. Electronic timing was used for many events, with some results by hand timing. Complete results are published by CFPI and the World Junior Athletics History website, with medal winners listed by category: Junior A Male, Junior A Female, and Junior B. Some events were marked as exhibitions.
