The 1997–98 Copa Federación de España was the fifth edition of the competition, a knockout cup for Spanish football clubs in Segunda División B and the Tercera División. Eighteen teams took part. The regional rounds began in 1997, and the national tournament ran from November 1997 to April 1998. Binéfar were the champions, with Alcalá as runners-up.
