Charlton Athletic 1995–96 season

The club played in the Football League First Division. The chairman was Richard Murray and Alan Curbishley was the manager. They played their home games at The Valley. Charlton finished 6th and reached the promotion playoffs, but were eliminated by Crystal Palace in the semi-finals.

In cup competitions, Charlton reached the fifth round of the FA Cup and the third round of the League Cup. The top league scorer was Leaburn with 9 goals, and the top scorer overall was Bowyer with 14.

The average home league attendance was 11,185. Defender Richard Rufus and midfielder Lee Bowyer were named in the PFA Team of the Year.
