1989 LSU Tigers baseball team
The 1989 LSU Tigers baseball team represented Louisiana State University in the 1989 NCAA Division I baseball season. They played home games at Alex Box Stadium and were part of the Southeastern Conference. Coached by Skip Bertman in his sixth year, they finished 55–17 overall and 18–9 in the SEC. They were NCAA Central Regional champions and reached the College World Series in Omaha, their third appearance there, finishing fourth after beating Long Beach State and Miami (FL) and losing to Miami and the eventual runner-up Texas.
