Uncut currency sheet

Content sourced from Wikipedia, licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.

Uncut currency sheets are sheets that contain several banknotes still joined together. They’re popular with collectors and are often sold as souvenirs. If you cut them, the notes can usually be used as money, but the sheet usually costs more than the total value of the notes once separated. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing has sold uncut U.S. dollar sheets since October 26, 1981. Sheets printed before that date are rare. As of December 2019, the U.S. Mint’s online store sells uncut sheets of $1, $2, $10, $20, $50, and $100 notes.
