Paul Annacone and John Fitzgerald won the doubles title, beating Jim Grabb and Christo van Rensburg 6–2, 6–2 in the final.
The defending champions were Jakob Hlasek and Claudio Mezzadri. Hlasek played this year with Joey Rive, but they were eliminated in the first round by Darren Cahill and Brad Drewett.
The event featured a 16-team draw with four seeded teams.
