1978 Oregon State Beavers football team
The 1978 Oregon State Beavers football team played in the Pacific-10 Conference during the 1978 NCAA Division I-A season. In head coach Craig Fertig’s third year, the Beavers finished with a 3–7–1 record, going 2–6 in the Pac-10 and placing ninth. They were outscored 266 to 128 over the season. Home games were held at Parker Stadium in Corvallis. The offensive coordinator was Tony Kopay and the defensive coordinator was Ray Braun, both in their third seasons.
