1963–64 Eerste Divisie: Sittardia won the championship. The season featured 16 teams. BVV and Telstar were promoted from the Tweede Divisie to join the division, while Willem II and De Volewijckers came down from the Eredivisie. Fortuna Vlaardingen and BVV were relegated to the Tweede Divisie. At the end of the season, Sittardia and Telstar were promoted to the Eredivisie. A total of 807 goals were scored in 240 matches, averaging 3.36 goals per game. This season followed 1962–63 and preceded 1964–65.
