The 1941 Los Angeles mayoral election took place on April 1, 1941, with a runoff on May 6, 1941. The race was nonpartisan, so party affiliations did not appear on the ballot.

Incumbent Fletcher Bowron, who had been elected in the 1938 recall, ran for a second term in what was to be his first full term. He faced several challengers: city councilmember Stephen W. Cunningham; U.S. Representative Charles Kramer; former mayors John C. Porter and Frank L. Shaw. Thomas F. Ford had initially filed to run but withdrew before the election.

In the primary, Bowron led with 146,405 votes (48.84%), Cunningham received 57,109 (19.05%), Kramer 30,643 (10.22%), Porter 28,712 (9.58%), and Shaw 24,382 (8.13%). Because no candidate won a majority, Bowron and Cunningham advanced to the runoff.

In the runoff, Bowron won a majority of the vote, defeating Cunningham 181,582 votes (54.90%) to 149,195 (45.10%). Fletcher Bowron was re-elected as mayor.
