1936 Troy State Red Wave football team
1936 Troy State Red Wave football team — The team represented Troy State Teachers College (now Troy University) as an independent during the 1936 college football season. Led by sixth-year head coach Albert Elmore, they finished with a 3–5 record. Home games were played at Pace Field. In May 1937, Albert Choate was hired to replace Elmore as athletic director and head football coach.
