Delight is Daesung’s first Japanese extended play, released on October 29, 2014. Daesung is also known in Japan as D-Lite and is the lead singer of the K-pop group Big Bang. The EP blends enka and trot styles and is sung entirely in Japanese. It features four songs, presented in nine versions, including three new enka tracks.

The lead track is “Look at me, GwiSoon,” originally written by G-Dragon, with Japanese lyrics by Kenichi Maeyamada. The album was released through Enka! Avex and produced by YGEX. A accompanying DVD includes the music video for “Look at me, GwiSoon,” the video for “Shut Up,” and a summer episode of How to Enjoy Vacation in Hokkaido.

On its release day, Delight sold 65,048 copies in Japan and 71,000 copies in the first week, topping the Oricon daily and weekly charts and becoming Daesung’s best first-week sales.
