Éva Rakusz
Éva Rakusz (born 13 May 1961 in Miskolc) is a Hungarian sprint canoeist who competed in the 1980s. She took part in two Olympic Games, winning a silver medal in the K-4 500 m at Seoul 1988 and a bronze in the K-2 500 m at Moscow 1980. At the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships she earned seven medals: gold in K-4 500 m (1986); silver in K-1 500 m (1981), K-2 500 m (1985), and K-4 500 m (1987); bronze in K-1 500 m (1982), K-4 500 m (1982), and K-4 500 m (1985). After retiring, she worked as a physical education teacher at Eötvös József Gimnázium in Tiszaújváros. She was Hungarian Sportswoman of the Year in 1981 after winning World Championship silver that year.
