The Hidden Window Mystery is the 34th book in the Nancy Drew Mystery Stories. It was published in 1956 under the pen name Carolyn Keene, with Harriet Stratemeyer Adams as the real author. Nancy Drew, along with her friends Bess and George, travels to Charlottesville, Virginia to find a missing stained-glass window. They also visit Richmond and the church where Patrick Henry gave his famous “Give me liberty or give me death” speech. The girls stay with Nancy’s cousin Susan. Nancy discovers someone is trying to keep her from Charlottesville, and the mansion where they stay is said to be haunted by a mysterious ghost. Nancy’s new neighbor’s brother, Alonzo Rugby, is in town and becomes a major suspect. The book was published by Grosset & Dunlap and is the 34th Nancy Drew novel.
