Ricky Browne, born 26 August 1950, is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Geelong in the VFL. He came from Geelong West in the VFA, where he was a centreman on the 1972 Geelong West premiership team and won the club’s best and fairest that year. In 1973 he was one vote short of winning the J. J. Liston Trophy. Ricky and his younger brother Mark Browne both debuted for Geelong in the opening round of the 1974 VFL season against Footscray at Western Oval. Browne played 18 games in 1974 and seven in 1975, totaling 25 games and 14 goals for Geelong. In 1976 he moved to East Fremantle, but never played league football there. He later served as non-playing coach of Geelong West in the 1981 VFA season. He was 183 cm tall and weighed 84 kg during his playing days.
