"Swallowed" is a 1996 song by British rock band Bush. It was released on 22 October 1996 as the lead single from their second album, Razorblade Suitcase. The track is a power ballad in A-flat major, about 4 minutes long (album version is 4:51). It was written by Gavin Rossdale and produced by Steve Albini. The B-side of the single is "Broken TV."

Chart and critical reception:
- The song topped the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart for seven weeks and reached number 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart.
- In the UK, it peaked at number 7 on the Singles Chart.
- It was nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 1998 Grammy Awards.

Video and appearance:
- The music video, directed by Jamie Morgan, was filmed in October 1996 at Twickenham Studios in England and in Florida. It features a retro apartment full of young people and a neon crucifix motif.

Legacy:
- "Swallowed" has appeared on Bush’s greatest-hits albums and on live and remix collections, including Zen X Four (live, 2005), Live in Tampa (2020), Deconstructed (1997), and Loads of Remixes (2024).
- Gavin Rossdale has said the song was his version of the Beatles' "Help!" despite musical differences.
