Zalošče is a small village in western Slovenia, in the Municipality of Nova Gorica. It lies in the lower Vipava Valley in the Slovenian Littoral region (Gorizia statistical region). The village covers 2.35 square kilometers and sits about 82 meters above sea level. In 2002, the population was 387.

In the northern part of Zalošče there is a large building that used to be a monastery in the 16th and 17th centuries. On a small hill next to Saint Lawrence's Church is an Austro-Hungarian military cemetery from World War I; today only the central monument remains, and the individual grave markers are no longer present.

The local church is dedicated to Saint Lawrence and belongs to the Parish of Dornberk.
