Yasu City History and Folklore Museum, also known as the Dōtaku Museum, is in Yasu, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. It opened on November 1, 1988. It used to be Yasu Town’s museum, and when Yasu Town merged with Chūzu to form Yasu City on October 1, 2004, it was renamed Yasu City History and Folklore Museum. The museo focuses on two main topics: the dōtaku bells found at Ōiwayama and the history and daily life of the local area. Next to the museum is Yayoi no Mori Historical Park, which has reconstructed pit-dwellings and a raised storehouse from ancient times.
