Wolf Creek is a short river in Mineral County, Colorado. It starts just west of the Wolf Creek ski area on the Continental Divide, near the top of Wolf Creek Pass. The creek flows west for about 8.3 miles (13.4 kilometers), roughly following U.S. Route 160, until it crosses under the highway and joins the West Fork San Juan River near the bottom of the pass. The West Fork San Juan then flows into the San Juan River, which eventually becomes part of the Colorado River system. The mouth of Wolf Creek is at about 7,785 feet (2,373 meters) above sea level.
