William Chiroque

William Medardo Chiroque Távara (born March 10, 1980 in Morropón Province, Peru) is a former Peruvian footballer who played as a winger or striker. He spent his club career in Peru with teams such as Alianza Atlético, Sporting Cristal, Cienciano, Juan Aurich, Universidad César Vallejo and Grau, finishing his career with Grau in 2018. He accumulated 488 club appearances and scored 49 goals.

Chiroque represented the Peru national team from 2004 to 2012, earning 18 caps and scoring one goal. He helped Peru win the bronze medal at the 2011 Copa América and was named Man of the Match in the group-stage game against Chile during the same tournament.
