William Campbell (January 12, 1836 – December 15, 1909) was a farmer and Conservative politician from Prince Edward Island. He served in the Legislative Assembly for 1st Queens from 1873 to 1886 and again from 1898 to 1900, and for 4th Prince from 1896 to 1897.

Born in New London, PEI, he was the son of James Campbell and Elizabeth Montgomery. He married Elizabeth McLeod in 1863; after her death he wed Elizabeth Sutherland in 1874. Campbell was a lieutenant-colonel in the county militia and served as Commissioner of Public Works in the province's Executive Council.

He first won his seat after Peter Sinclair resigned. He was defeated in 1886, but won a by-election later that year after Alexander Laird's death and then lost the following general election. He returned to office in a 1898 by-election after Warburton was named to the bench, but was defeated in the 1900 general election. He died in Seaview at age 73.
