William Bland House
The William Bland House is a two-story brick home built in 1850 near Glendale, Kentucky. It was built by John Y. Hill and features a central hallway floor plan with Federal-style details. The front door is notable for its three sidelights on each side and six transom windows, the only entrance of its kind in Hardin County. The brick is laid in Flemish bond and the eaves have brick dentils. A log kitchen was originally a separate building but was connected to the house around 1900. The property covers about 1.2 acres and sits at coordinates 37°36′50″N 85°58′15″W. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 4, 1988 (NRHP reference number 88001734).
