Wilhelmine Ritter was a German mezzo-soprano who sang with the Bavarian State Opera in Munich from 1866 to 1871. Not much is known about her birth or training. She created two roles by Richard Wagner: Floßhilde in Das Rheingold (September 22, 1869) and Grimgerde, one of the Valkyries, in Die Walküre (June 26, 1869). Her last performance at the company was as Orfeo in Christoph Willibald Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice in 1871. She married soon after and retired from the stage.
