Wheat Boat is a 1942 Australian radio play by Alexander Turner, directed by Charles Wheeler. It was broadcast on ABC in English and runs about 60 minutes (8:00 pm–9:00 pm). The first release was on 3 June 1942. The story follows two parallel tales set 2,000 years apart about innocent Greek ships meeting an armed enemy at sea, and it asks whether people can learn from the past beyond what books teach us. The work was praised, with Leslie Rees calling it outstanding. Wheat Boat was produced again in 1943 and 1944 and later published in a collection of Turner's plays in 1946.
