Wedgeworth, Alabama (also known as Greenwood) is an unincorporated community in Hale County, United States. It sits at the intersection of Alabama State Routes 60 and 14, about 13.7 miles northeast of Greensboro. The community is named after the Wedgworth family, early settlers. A post office operated under the name Greenwood from 1895 to 1904 and then as Wedgeworth from 1904 to 1955.
