Walter Ward (born 1869 in Birmingham, England) was an English footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He appeared for Small Heath in the Football Alliance during the 1890–91 season, making five league appearances. Ward often deputised for the regular keeper, Chris Charsley, when Charsley was away serving as a police officer. His date of death is unknown.
