Walnut Bread (Lithuanian: Riešutų duona) is a 1977 Lithuanian romance film made during the Soviet era. Directed by Arūnas Žebriūnas, the story follows Andrius Šatas and Liuka Kaminskaitė, who grow up next door to each other in rural postwar Lithuania and fall in love. Their families—the Šatai and the Kaminskai—are rivals after a cow sold to the Kaminskai dies, fueling the feud. The film stars Algirdas Latėnas and Saulius Sipaitis, with cinematography by Algimantas Mockus, editing by Vanda Surviliene, and music by Vyacheslav Ganelin. It was shot in Sovcolor on 35 mm film with an aspect ratio of 2.35:1, and released on 17 December 1977. The running time is 69 minutes, and the languages are Lithuanian and Russian.
