Wakefield is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Fulton Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2010 census, its population was 609. It is the largest community in the Peach Bottom ZIP code, with the local post office on Pennsylvania Route 272 just north of the town.

The Wakefield area covers about 1.7 square miles, mostly land, and sits on a ridge. The west side drains toward Puddle Duck Creek and the Susquehanna River, while the east drains toward Conowingo Creek and then the Susquehanna in Maryland.

Major roads are Pennsylvania Route 272 and U.S. Route 222. PA 272 runs north-northwest to Lancaster, about 20 miles away. US 222 goes north-northeast to Quarryville and then reconnects with PA 272 at Willow Street for a 24-mile drive to Lancaster. To the south, US 222 leads to US 1 in Maryland near Conowingo Dam; PA 272 heads east to US 1 in Nottingham, about 9 miles away.
