WQLF (102.1 FM, "Q102") is a classic rock radio station licensed to Lena, Illinois, and serving the Freeport area. It is owned by Big Radio. The 102.1 FM frequency in Lena was added by the FCC in 1993. The construction permit went to Lena Radio, Inc., in 2000, then was sold in 2002 to Thompson & Spielman (Scott Thompson). WQLF began broadcasting on August 2, 2002 as Hit Radio Q102.1. It operated from the WEKZ studios in Monroe as part of Green County Broadcasting, which also owned WEKZ and WEKZ-FM, with Thompson describing the format as the WLS of the 1970s.
