Vladimir Zavyalov (ice hockey)
Vladimir Vladimirovich Zavyalov (born May 1, 1974) is a retired Kazakhstani ice hockey player. He was born in Ust-Kamenogorsk, in the Kazakh SSR of the Soviet Union. He played center, shot left, was 6 feet tall and weighed 181 pounds. His professional career spanned 1987 to 2007. Zavyalov played for many teams in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Belarus, including Kazakhmys Satpaev, Saryarka Karagandy, Barys Astana, HK Vitebsk, Dinamo Minsk, Yunost Minsk, Gazovik Tyumen, Sibir Novosibirsk, CSKA Moscow, Krylya Sovetov Moscow, Metallurg Novokuznetsk, Vityaz Chekhov, Severstal Cherepovets, and Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. He represented Kazakhstan at the 1998 Winter Olympics and at multiple World Championships.
