Vineet Saxena (born 3 December 1980, Margao, Goa) is an Indian domestic cricketer who has played as a right-handed batsman and an off-break bowler. He has represented Rajasthan, Railways, and Uttarakhand in Indian domestic cricket and has been a regular in the Central Zone team for the Duleep Trophy.

Saxena made his first-class debut for Rajasthan in February 1999 against Bengal and played for India Under-19s in an ODI against Sri Lanka in March 1999. After Rajasthan was relegated to the Plate division in 2004-05, he moved to Railways for 2005-06, then returned to Rajasthan in 2006-07. He later played for Uttarakhand from 2006/07 to 2018.

Key achievements:
In the 2010-11 Ranji Trophy, Saxena scored 143 against Mumbai in the quarterfinal and shared a 240-run second-wicket partnership with captain Hrishikesh Kanitkar. Rajasthan won the trophy for the first time, with Saxena totaling 566 runs at roughly 51.45 apiece across 12 innings.

In the 2011-12 Ranji Trophy season, he was the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament with 897 runs from 18 innings at an average of 52.76, including two centuries and five fifties. He had important scores in the semifinal and finished with a career-best 257 in the final as Rajasthan won the trophy again.

Coaching:
In May 2024, Saxena was appointed batting coach for the National Cricket Academy’s high-performance camp for Under-19 boys.
