Varedo is a small town (comune) in Lombardy, northern Italy. It is part of the province of Monza and Brianza and lies about 15 kilometers north of Milan. The town covers 4.8 square kilometers and sits at about 180 meters above sea level. As of April 2009, around 12,800 people lived there, with a population density of about 2,700 per square kilometer. The residents are called Varedesi. Varedo borders Desio, Bovisio-Masciago, Limbiate, Nova Milanese, and Paderno Dugnano. The postal code is 20814 and the area code is 0362. In Milanese, Varedo is known as Varee. The mayor is Sergio Daniel.
