Valentine Grantham Faithfull (25 June 1820 – 30 May 1894) was an English clergyman and amateur cricketer who played for Cambridge University in 1841. He was born in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, the son of Reverend Francis Joseph Faithfull; his older brother was James Faithfull.

He was educated at Harrow School and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. Faithfull played one first-class cricket match in 1841 for Cambridge against the Marylebone Cricket Club, scoring 0 and 1; details about his batting style or bowling are not recorded.

After graduation, he became a Church of England clergyman. He served as a curate at Hatfield and, from 1848 until his death, held church posts in Edinburgh, including the incumbent at Trinity Episcopal Church, Dean Bridge (1851–1888) under Reverend David Drummond.

In 1862 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, proposed by Reverend James Hodson; he resigned in 1863. Faithfull died at his home in Edinburgh and was buried in Dean Cemetery.

He married Frances Maria Farquharson in August 1850, daughter of Major-General James Alexander Farquharson of Oakley, Fife. He was also a Freemason with the Lodge of Edinburgh No. 1.
