Vaana (Rain) is a 2008 Telugu romantic drama directed and produced by M. S. Raju. It is a remake of the 2006 Kannada film Mungaru Male. The film stars Vinay Rai (in his Telugu debut) and Meera Chopra, with Suman, Jayasudha, Naresh, Seetha, and Diganth in supporting roles. Music is by Kamalakar; cinematography by Sekhar V. Joseph; editing by K. V. Krishna Reddy. It released on 15 January 2008 to mixed-to-negative reviews and was a box-office flop. The film was dubbed in Tamil as Gnabagangal Thalattum in 2013.

Plot
Abhiram (Abhi), the son of Uma and Babji, spots Nandini at a mall and falls in love. A series of misunderstandings and family pressures follow, and Nandini is engaged to be married to Gautam. Abhi pursues his love, meets Nandini’s deaf father Col. Choudary, and faces emotional hurdles. Though Nandini loves him, circumstances push her toward marriage with Gautam. In the end, Gautam marries Nandini, and Abhi, heartbroken, keeps a heart-shaped watch as a memory. A pet rabbit named Devadas dies near a waterfall, and Abhi buries the rabbit as he reflects on the events.
