VH1 Storytellers: Johnny Cash & Willie Nelson is a live album by Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. It was released on June 9, 1998, and was recorded in 1997–1998. The album appeared on American Recordings and was produced by Rick Rubin. It comes from Cash’s decade-long collaboration with Rubin, but it isn’t counted as part of the American Recordings studio series.

In the show, Cash and Nelson take turns performing songs tied to each artist, with the other providing harmony or occasionally singing verses. The opening track is a Cash–Nelson duet, and some songs feature Nelson’s guitar solos. Between numbers, they joke and tell stories about the songs and their origins.

This was the last new-performance album Cash released while he was able to tour; health problems soon limited his live shows and changed the sound of his voice. It was also the last new live album Cash released during his lifetime. An earlier live recording, Johnny Cash at Madison Square Garden (1969), was released after that, before his death.
