Union Commonwealth Bulldogs football represents Union Commonwealth University in Barbourville, Kentucky. They compete in the NAIA and are football-only members of the Mid-South Conference. Home games are played at Williamson Stadium (Burch/Nau Field). The team colors are orange and black, and Nike is the outfitter. The head coach is Boston Bryant, and the athletic director is Clay Butler.

The program began in 1905, playing three games against Williamsburg Institute. After that season there was no team from 1906 to 1921. It returned in 1922 and had a successful run from 1929 to 1941 under coach J. R. Bacon, including a 5–0–2 season in 1934. Union beat Louisville in their first four meetings from 1932 to 1935, before losing in 1936. The program was shut down in 1942 due to World War II and did not restart until 1984. Since then, it has had limited success, including a 25-game losing streak from 1998 to 2000. The Bulldogs won one Mid-South Conference co-championship in 1992 and played in the NAIA championship series in 2008 (loss). The official site is gounionbulldogs.com.
