Chongqing No.7 High School is a public, co-educational school for grades 7–12 in downtown Shapingba, Chongqing, China. It is designated as a key school by the Chongqing Education Commission and is one of the few public schools in Chongqing that accepts international students under a government pilot program. The school's history traces back to the Jinyun Study, founded in 1758; through several relocations and name changes in the Republic of China era, it finally settled on its current campus after about 260 years. Today it has about 4,000 students and 324 teachers on a 130-acre urban campus. The motto emphasizes aspiration, practicality, diligence, and obedience. The principal is Hong Deng.
