Twelve Points Historic District
Twelve Points Historic District is a national historic district in Terre Haute, Indiana. It covers about 11.5 acres and includes 12 contributing buildings in a small commercial area along Lafayette Avenue (from Linden to 13th Street) and Maple Avenue (from Garfield to 13th Street).
The district developed mainly between 1905 and 1954, with most buildings constructed between 1890 and 1920. It features Commercial, Art Deco, and Classical Revival architecture. Notable buildings include the Twelve Points State Bank (1919), People State Bank (1923), Twelve Points Hotel (1908), and Garfield Theater / Harmony Hall (1939).
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
