Truck on Fire is a country song by Carly Pearce. It was released July 29, 2024, as the second single from her fourth album, Hummingbird. The 3:08 tune was written by Carly Pearce, Justin Ebach, and Charles Kelley, and produced by Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne. Pearce says the song is an empowering anthem for women who have been cheated on and want revenge.
The music video premiered October 14, 2024. In the video, Pearce drives a red Ford Mustang to a rural gas station and buys supplies to burn her ex’s pickup truck, which draws the attention of the police. Alexa Campbell directed the video, and Pearce says it shows a playful, fun side of her.
