Tritonoturris amabilis
Tritonoturris amabilis is a small sea snail in the family Raphitomidae. It was moved to the genus Tritonoturris by A. W. B. Powell in 1966.
Shell description:
- Length up to 22 mm
- Thin, pale orange-brown shell with a narrow white band on the body whorl and white spots near the suture
- Nine whorls
- Distant, thin, ridge-like ribs
- Fine, closely spaced revolving lines (lirae), more noticeable at the base
- Ribs are few and narrow
Distribution:
- Found in the marine waters off Mauritius and in parts of Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea
