Boy in Space is the stage name of Robin Lundbäck, born May 17, 1994, in Alingsås, Sweden. He is a singer, songwriter, and musician who makes pop and R&B-influenced music. Before going solo, he was part of the Swedish boy band JTR, which competed on The X Factor Australia and released two albums. The name Boy in Space reflects his “spacey” personality and love of being different and exploring new ideas.

He started releasing music as a solo artist in 2018 with the single Goodbye, followed by Give Me and California. In 2019 he put out more songs, including 7UP, Drown and Cold, with Drown becoming very popular online. He also released a remix of 7UP with his brother Tom Lundbäck, who helped form JTR. A video for Caroline was described as Alice in Wonderland-inspired.

Lundbäck performed with Alec Benjamin in 2019. He planned a solo show in London in 2020 and a European tour with Jeremy Zucker, but many dates were postponed or canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In May 2020 he released a cover of Forever Young by Alphaville.

In 2021 he released the song Paradise with Norwegian DJ and producer Alan Walker and K-391. He lives and creates music in Alingsås, Sweden, where he started his career. He has also collaborated with other artists, appearing on tracks as a featured artist.
