Sue Kerr (born 1971) is an American writer and activist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She covers LGBT issues and disability. She runs the Pittsburgh Lesbian Correspondents blog, started in 2005, and has written there for nearly 20 years. Her work has won several GLAAD Media Awards, including Outstanding LGBTQ Blogger.

Kerr lives in Pittsburgh’s Manchester neighborhood and is an important voice on LGBT issues in Pennsylvania politics. She lives with a disability, a common topic in her writing and activism.

She married her longtime partner on February 2, 2021 after 19 years together. The wedding was co-officiated by former Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto.

In 2012 she started a campaign to reduce waste by stocking food pantries with reusable tote bags. In the summer of 2022, Kerr distributed over 700 “Protect Trans Kids” yard signs after a Pittsburgh teen faced transphobic slurs. The sign campaign drew attention to youth transgender rights, and that fall the City of Pittsburgh proclaimed September 12, 2022 as “Protect Trans Kids Day,” drafted with the help of three LGBTQ teens.
