Trigger strategy
Trigger strategy is a plan used in repeated non-cooperative games. A player starts by cooperating, but will punish the other if they defect beyond a chosen trigger level. Different trigger strategies vary in how severe the punishment is and how sensitive the trigger is. In short, cooperation lasts until defection crosses the trigger, after which retaliation occurs.
