Tricolia fordiana

Tricolia fordiana is a very small sea snail with a hard calcareous shell. It belongs to the pheasant snails family (Phasianellidae). The shell height is about 2 to 5 millimeters. This species lives in the Central Indo-Pacific region and off Australia. It was first described by Pilsbry in 1888 and has been known by other names in the past, such as Phasianella elachista and Phasianella minima.
