Richardsville, Virginia
Richardsville is a small village in the southern part of Culpeper County, Virginia, between the Rapidan and Rappahannock rivers. It was settled in the early 1800s and became the site of many gold mines in Virginia. During the Civil War, the area saw several skirmishes and troop movements.
