Tony Peyton (Charles Anthony Peyton) was an American professional basketball player born on March 3, 1921, in Elyria, Ohio. He stood 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 200 pounds. Peyton attended Scott High School in Toledo and played college basketball at Michigan from 1938 to 1941.

His professional career spanned the 1940s into the early 1950s. He played as a small forward and shooting guard for several teams, including the Harlem Globetrotters (1941–42 and 1944–46), the Chicago Studebaker Flyers in the National Basketball League during the 1942–43 season (averaging 2.4 points per game), the Kansas City Stars (1945–46), the Chicago Colored Collegians (1946–1951), and the New York Renaissance. Peyton was known for his work with barnstorming teams as well as league play.

He passed away on July 23, 2007, in Midland, Texas, at the age of 86.
