Tony Evans (footballer, born 1954)
Anthony “Tony” Evans (born 11 January 1954 in Liverpool) is a former English footballer who played as a forward. He had a long career in the Football League during the 1970s and 1980s, totaling 269 league appearances and 94 goals.

After retiring from playing, Evans became a social worker and founded the Midnight League, a program to give young people the chance to play football at night as a positive activity.
