Tom Wiedenbauer (Thomas John Wiedenbauer), born November 5, 1958, in Menomonie, Wisconsin, is a former Major League Baseball outfielder and longtime coach. He batted and threw right-handed.

Drafted by the Houston Astros in the 7th round of the 1976 draft, he made his MLB debut with Houston on September 14, 1979, and played his final game on September 29, 1979. In four big‑league games that September, he was an outfielder and pinch runner, collecting 4 hits in 6 at‑bats for a .667 batting average and 2 RBIs.

Wiedenbauer spent several years in the Astros' minor league system and converted to a pitcher in 1982. He pitched mostly in Class A, compiling a 10‑11 record with a 5.00 ERA, and retired after the 1983 season.

After playing, he stayed with Houston as a minor league coach. He managed the Double-A Columbus Astros from 1987 to 1988 and later served as an Astros minor league manager and instructor for more than 20 seasons.

In 2011, Wiedenbauer joined the Cleveland Indians organization as a minor league field coordinator. On October 14, 2011, he was named the Indians’ first-base coach, with additional duties for outfielders and baserunning. He worked under manager Manny Acta, with whom he had previously worked in the Astros organization. He is a special assistant to the President of Baseball Operations and the General Manager.
