Todd Klinck
Todd Klinck is a Canadian writer, nightclub owner, and pornography producer. He moved to Toronto at 18 to study theatre at York University but left to focus on his career. In 1996 his novel Tacones (High Heels) won the Three-Day Novel Contest and was published by Anvil Press, receiving strong reviews in the Toronto Star and Quill and Quire.
He helped write the screenplay for the 2004 film Sugar with John Palmer and Jaie Laplante, which earned a Genie Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. He was a columnist for fab until 2005, and later wrote online for Xtra!, with the Sex Play column in 2009 and Porndoggy in 2010. His work has appeared in the National Post, Saturday Night, and Bil Bo K (Belgium).
With Mandy Goodhandy, Klinck launched several Toronto sex businesses, including the transgender strip club The Lounge, the DVD production company Mayhem North, and the porn site Amateur Canadian Guys. In 2006 they opened Goodhandy’s, a pansexual nightclub in downtown Toronto. Klinck has worked as a professional BDSM dominant and appeared on the TV series KinK. He and Goodhandy were Grand Marshals of the Pride Toronto parade in 2010.
