Time Remembered: John McLaughlin Plays Bill Evans is a studio jazz album by guitarist John McLaughlin. It was recorded in March 1993 and released by Verve on November 9, 1993. The album lasts 40 minutes and 6 seconds. McLaughlin produced the project, with Jean-Philippe Allard as executive producer. In McLaughlin’s discography, it follows Qué Alegría (1992) and precedes Tokyo Live (1994).

The album reached number 10 on the Billboard Top Jazz Albums chart. Critical reception was mixed: AllMusic gave it 2 stars, with reviewer Scott Yanow saying it felt sleepy and overly respectful, lacking mood and tempo variety. Conversely, Walter Kolosky of All About Jazz praised it as a beautiful, fully realized tribute with a rich sound and strong playing, noting McLaughlin’s solos are fluid though sometimes dense but never unfocused. All tracks are Bill Evans compositions, unless otherwise noted.
