Thomas Whipple Jr. (1787 – January 23, 1835) was a doctor and a U.S. representative from New Hampshire. He was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and moved to Warren in 1811. He studied medicine in Haverhill and Hanover and graduated from Dartmouth College in 1814. He began practicing medicine in Wentworth. He served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 1818 to 1820. Whipple was elected to the Seventeenth Congress and the next three Congresses, serving from March 4, 1821, to March 3, 1829. After leaving Congress, he resumed his medical practice. He died in Wentworth, New Hampshire, on January 23, 1835, and was buried in Wentworth Village Cemetery.
